A Taste of Grog: Bourbon Barrel-aged Coffee

Aye Aye, Matey! Start your adventure on the high seas with our Captain’s favorite coffee. Before purification systems, alcohol was safer than water. Sailors mixed rum with their water to purify and extend provisions. Every ship may have its own recipe, but most included lime and sugar to improve taste with a wonderful side effect of preventing scurvy.

Sailors may have drank Grog all day long, but our specialty coffee is non-alcoholic. Beans from (origin) are aged 30 days in Bourbon barrel casks, then medium roasted to order.
