Veteran-owned. Baltimore-bred.
A coffee company built for the watch.
Salty Sailor was founded on a simple order: roast excellent coffee, carry the story of its origins, and make every purchase do some good.
A Salty Sailor welcome
From one sailor to the whole crew.
Founder Neil Kittleson is a former U.S. Navy Supply Corps officer who knows what a good cup can do on a long watch. Coffee makes room for a conversation, steadies a difficult morning, and brings people together when the work is hard.
That belief became Salty Sailor Coffee Company: specialty coffee roasted to order, sourced from distinct growing regions around the world, and delivered with a real maritime identity.
The coffee
Roasted to order
Fresh coffee leaves the roastery after you order it. No stale bags waiting on a warehouse shelf.
The voyage
Ports around the world
Blends and single origins carry the character of coffee-growing regions across Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
The mission
5% gives back
Five percent of every order supports Navy-Marine Corps families through the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
Drink Coffee & Do Good.
The giving belongs in the business.
Our military-family giving is not decoration on the bag. The SS John W. Brown collection also supports Project Liberty Ship, while quarterly Kiva micro-loans help coffee-growing communities invest in equipment, inputs, and the next harvest.
